Stock harming insects form a major threat to goods in warehouses, silos and means of transport such as ships, trucks and containers. These insects can cause a lot of damage to stored goods, resulting in economic damage to your company. Via fumigation, EWS Fumigation can efficiently treat stock such as cocoa, grains, rice and coffee against harming insects. In bulk in, for instance, silos or ships or in bags for warehouses or containers.
The goods or the space to be fumigated are closed gas-tight before fumigation. After a specific fumigation period (depending on the gas used), the goods are ventilated and released when no remaining concentration is measured. For large batches in vertical silos we also use sweep gas to homogenise the concentration of gas quicker through the goods.
